Can You Ever Cope with Anxiety Panic Attack Symptoms Even if Your Meds Fail?

A really good thing about the natural methods for managing anxiety panic attack symptoms is that you're not just a helpless victim when you sense a panic attack setting in. When you take the meds you may have fewer attacks, but what happens when one gets through? Do you just sit through those waves of terror praying that, somehow, you'll live through it? What about tomorrow?

If you decide to use natural methods for coping with these attacks, you'll be much better at dealing with them. While the meds can reduce the number of attacks, natural coping techniques can reduce the horror of going through them by giving you the weapons you need to combat them. Over time, the attacks will lose their edge and, eventually, won't even rear their ugly heads because you will have taken charge.

How Well Do Medications for Anxiety Panic Attack Symptoms Work?

You don't have to be reminded about the symptoms, right? Just to name a few: shortness of breath, palpitations, perspiration, dizziness, trembling, detachment from reality, fear of going crazy and fear of dying. Great numbers of users see their medications as miraculous because they are so easy to use and can greatly reduce how often panic attacks occur, thus cutting down on their users' experience with these symptoms. And besides, they often feel more relaxed as well. Sometimes, with certain people and certain drugs, they can feel way too relaxed, but that's another story. But it is true that, with sufficient persistence, the physician and patient can find a medication that will provide some relief in the frequency of the patient's anxiety panic attack symptoms.

People taking medications are often so relieved by the fact that the intervals between panic attacks have become longer that they lose sight of the fact that they do still happen. Medications are effective in providing temporary relief and some breathing room between attacks, but, all by themselves, they can't do away with the underlying anxiety since they only act at the superficial level. They don't get at the heart of the problem and cut out the fear brought on by the anxiety panic attack symptoms.
